The specialist in fragrances and flavors, cosmetic bases, actives, and functional ingredients has finalized the acquisition of Floral Concept, announced in July, taking full ownership of the company.
The acquisition strengthens Symrise’s portfolio of premium natural ingredients. Together with Lautier 1795, Floral Concept will form a dedicated hub for natural perfumery ingredients, located in the heart of the Grasse region.
“Today marks an exciting new chapter for Floral Concept. Joining Symrise allows us to preserve our craftsmanship, the quality of our products and trusted relationships while gaining access to a broad global platform and new opportunities for innovation and growth,” said Frédérique Rémy, General Manager, Floral Concept.
For the time being, Symrise says its priority is to ensure business continuity and maintain service for Floral Concept’s customers, while gradually giving them access to a broader range of ingredients, “enhanced sourcing and transformation expertise”, and Symrise’s perfumery capabilities.
“Together, Floral Concept and Lautier 1795 combine premium naturals expertise with the customer proximity and producer relationships that distinguish both businesses. Our ambition is to set a new benchmark for creativity, quality and sustainability in perfumery,” says Ricardo Omori, President Global Scent Division at Symrise.
