With a new production facility soon to open in Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne, in Southern France, the Grasse-based entity that consolidates the Symrise Group’s perfumery ingredients business is preparing to reconnect with its roots by relaunching its natural raw materials trading activity to serve the fragrance industry.

At SIMPPAR 2026, Lautier 1795 unveiled a collection of 22 natural raw materials sourced from the Group’s supply chains. The products are expected to become commercially available by the end of the year. According to Symrise, the collection marks the return of Maison Lautier 1795 to its historic vocation: discovering, selecting and transforming exceptional natural raw materials for perfumery.

Among the collection, three ingredients were given particular prominence: Longoza Oil Madagascar, a new ingredient for the fragrance industry; Bay Oil Madagascar, an exclusive essential oil from Pimenta racemosa, hand-harvested in Madagascar’s Sava region and distilled leaf by leaf to provide a natural alternative to eugenol; and Mandarin Cold Process, a cold-decolorized mandarin extract produced without distillation using a patented process.

At its origins, Maison Lautier was deeply rooted in the regions where ingredients were cultivated, harvested and passed down through generations of expertise. Over time, this knowledge of natural ingredients became a cornerstone of fragrance creation. Today, Lautier 1795 is returning to its founding purpose: sourcing, revealing and sharing exceptional natural raw materials with the entire industry by relaunching their direct commercialization,” the Group said in a statement.
