The 60th anniversary is an important milestone, but above all it is an opportunity to continue evolving Cosmoprof’s role as a global platform serving the industry,” says Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof. “The show’s new layout is part of a development strategy aimed at making the event increasingly effective, accessible and responsive to the needs of a constantly evolving international market.

Over the past six decades, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has established itself as the leading global B2B beauty event. The 2026 edition welcomed 3,104 exhibitors from 68 countries, 80% of whom were international, along with more than 255,000 industry professionals from 155 countries, with international visitors representing 53% of total attendance.

The new layout planned for 2027 reflects this evolution. According to the organizers, the expansion of the international offering and the growing diversity of exhibitors, national pavilions and professional delegations called for an exhibition model enabling more intuitive visitor navigation while better showcasing the distinctive strengths of each sector.

Better distinction between distribution channels

The new layout of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2027 aims to create a clearer distinction between areas serving the retail market and those dedicated to distribution for professional channels, including salon, beauty centre, spa and nail professionals. Areas dedicated to Professional Hair, Beauty & Spa and NailWorld exhibitors will therefore experience significant changes.

As far as the Cosmetics & Fragrances section is concerned, Hall 30 will become the new hub for skincare and make-up, providing approximately 1,000 additional square metres compared with the previous configuration, while Hall 36 will host the entire fragrances and personal care offering.

Cosmoprime, the area dedicated to prestige fragrances and beauty products, will relocate from Hall 14 to Hall 29, alongside The Extraordinary Gallery, the Beauty Tech Area, Italian Start Up, and the Buyer Lounge.

Another important development will be the expansion of the area dedicated to the Country Pavilions, to reflect the event’s growing international reach.

Finally, Cosmopack, the section dedicated to the supply chain — including packaging companies and formulators — will remain in its traditional halls (15, 15A, 18, 19 and 20), while Chinese exhibitors will be grouped together in Hall 14. Machinery manufacturers, meanwhile, will continue to exhibit in Hall 19.

We will continue to invest in innovation across the event format, services and content in order to create tangible value for companies and industry professionals,” emphasizes Enrico Zannini.
