The annual gathering of the European trade association was originally due to take place in June. However, in light of the evolving COVID-19 crisis, Cosmetics Europe has made the “regrettable but necessary decision” to cancel the 2020 edition of the event.
“Our team will be reaching out directly to everyone already registered with information about providing full refunds and to manage the implications of this cancellation,” explains the association in a statement. “We thank everyone who expressed interest in joining the event this year. We look forward to bringing you CEAC 2021 with even more passion and excitement next year.”
The Covid-19 pandemic is turning the calendar of international beauty events upside down. To name only a few, PCHI China, Luxe Pack Shanghai, MakeUp in Shanghai, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, in-cosmetics Global, Luxe Pack New York, NYSCC Suppliers’ Day, Beauty World Middle East, and Cosmoprof India have been rescheduled.
