In a rapidly evolving market, characterized by the proliferation of small brands and entrepreneurial projects, access to raw materials remains a major obstacle to project realization. Suppliers frequently require large minimum orders—sometimes up to 25 kilos—despite brands needing only small quantities to develop and test formulations. Meanwhile, consumer-level solutions exist but typically lack the regulatory documentation required for professional use.
It is precisely this gap that Cosmetic Innov Access aims to fill. Its model is built on the repackaging of raw materials, enabling optimized minimum order quantities (MOQs) while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Based in Viry-Châtillon, around twenty kilometres south of Paris, the facility brings together offices, a packaging laboratory, and dedicated storage space, all designed to meet industry requirements.
Beyond simple distribution, Cosmetic Innov Access positions itself as a true interface between suppliers and end users. In 2024, the company secured its first partnership with Lessonia, making its ingredients available in smaller quantities. Building on this momentum, 2025 marked a strategic expansion of its portfolio, notably through agreements with Seppic — whose raw materials are now distributed in small volumes across France — and Green Line Ingredients, for which Cosmetic Innov Access holds exclusive distribution rights in France, including for larger volumes.
This dual approach—traditional distribution and specialization in small volumes—allows Cosmetic Innov Access to meet a wide range of market needs. Its clients range from emerging brands to formulation laboratories, including large corporations. Indeed, even established players don’t always require large quantities, particularly during the R&D or testing phases. "The minimum quantities imposed by manufacturers are sometimes disconnected from the day-to-day realities of the cosmetics industry," emphasizes Édith Almenara, co-founder and Sales and Marketing Director.
But Cosmetic Innov Access’s contribution extends far beyond volume optimization. The company also champions a more responsible vision for the industry. “The waste of cosmetic raw materials is a major issue: overstocking driven by economies of scale often leads to costly and environmentally unjustified destruction,” explains co-founder Édith Almenara. By offering a more tailored approach, Cosmetic Innov Access helps reduce the disposal of expired materials while improving its clients’ cash flow management.
However, the company’s growth has not been without technical challenges. Repackaging is a highly demanding process that cannot be improvised: identifying suitable containers, sourcing reliable suppliers, and navigating the same constraints faced by its clients were all critical steps during the launch phase.
For 2026, the priority is clear: increasing the company’s visibility! The company is exhibiting at the in-cosmetics Global trade show, from April 14 to 16 in Paris, in the Cosmetic Valley pavilion.
