These awards have been created to honour the year’s most innovative developments for make-up products in four categories: formulation, packaging, accessories & samples, full service. Twenty companies participating in the third edition MakeUp in Paris submitted more than thirty innovations.

The jury consisting of Florence Bernardin, Gérard Péverelli, Olivier Guillemin, Jean-Louis Mathiez, Damien Dufresne, Doria Maiz, chaired by Thierry de Baschmakoff, carried out a first selection, which enabled to identify a list of nominees for each categories. Then, all the selected products have been showcased in the “Espace des Innovations” (Innovation Area) of the show and submitted to visitors’ vote during the first day.

And the winners are:

 Best formulation, CrystalEyes by Ancorotti Cosmetics, a mascara which formulation releases a noticeable and immediate colour.

 Best packaging, Noir G de Guerlain by LF Beauty, a precious object, made up to no less than seventeen pieces, mainly in zamak.

 Best accessory or sample, Lipress by Pulvorex, an easy to use lipstick sample,

 Best full service, Stylo Spacy Art Pen by Bomo-Trendline.

In addition to the public’s choice, the Jury’s Award singles out a particularly innovative global approach. The jury granted two ex aequo awards:

 Mally Ultimate Performance Brightening 2-in-1 Eye Shadow by Topline Products

and,

 Lipress by Pulvorex,

Also, the judges also fell in love with Leonard’s ebrush1S, which was awarded a prize favourite. This brush enables to design and apply make-up using any touch screens on the market.
