Finally, in 2011 the turnover of Ancorotti Cosmetics will be closer to 14 million euros (85% of which went on foreign markets), rather than the 11 million euros previously planned earlier this year. Quite a performance when you recall it was only of 5.5 million last year. Not to mention that this figure was reached with the help of a single specialty or almost, mascara.
As a result, the management of the firm has invested, once again in a new storage building bringing to nearly 6000 sqm the total industrial area, comprising the buildings for production and storage, used by Ancorotti Cosmetics since its installation in the industrial area of Crema just three years ago.
4 tons/day in 2012
The actual production capacity which is of 3 tons/day will increase to 4 tons/day in 2012 and, thanks to the eight filling machines in use, the capacity is already of 15,000 pieces per day per machine with just one team (for a total of 120.000 pcs/shift). "And nothing keeps us from switching to two teams," explains Renato Ancorotti. Among the other products drawing a great deal of attention, a new line of lip gloss and of foundation.
