The organizers of the World Perfumery Congress (WPC) eventually decided to postpone the event until December 2020.

Initially scheduled to take place from June 02 to 04, 2020 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the WPC 2020 has been postponed for December 15 to December 17, 2020

After monitoring the rapidly evolving developments of Covid-19 (coronavirus) over the last several weeks and seeking the best available advice, Perfumer & Flavorist and the American Society of Perfumers have decided to postpone the 2020 World Perfumery Congress (WPC) until Tuesday, December 15 - Thursday, December 17, 2020,” they said in a statement.

This has been a difficult and unprecedented decision for a difficult and unprecedented moment. However, the health, comfort and safety of all of our attendees is paramount. Postponing the 2020 WPC will allow us to regroup and deliver the safe environment and top-notch fragrance event our industry deserves,” they added.

The Covid-19 outbreak is turning the global calendar of international events upside down. On Thursday, Milan’s Esxence tradeshow was rescheduled for February 2021 and yesterday the organizers of Cosmoprof also announced the event would eventually take place in September.
