A strategic beauty market and manufacturing hub
The development of Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN and the launch of Cosmopack CBE ASEAN also reflect Thailand’s growing relevance within the global beauty industry. The country has a well-established cosmetics sector, supported by strong OEM and ODM capabilities particularly across skincare, haircare, and color cosmetics, with manufacturers offering fully integrated services from formulation and product innovation to packaging and labelling.
Leading Thai OEM/ODM manufacturers, including Cosmina, ILC (International Laboratories Corporation), Milott Laboratories, and Thai Beauty Group, were among the key exhibitors at the inaugural edition of Cosmopack CBE ASEAN.
The supply chain focus was further reinforced by The Sunscreen Factory, a live installation showcasing the creation of a sunscreen product created in collaboration with selected Thai manufacturers and suppliers: Derma Innovation, Propack Asia, Ther Line, Napat Packaging, and Selcon.
In the fragrance segment, Thai fragrance houses such as Perfumers World, ScentSense, and Amerasian Fragrance Research showcased the richness of their olfactory palettes, with creations inspired by the ingredients and flavors of Thai cuisine — which hold particular appeal for a regional clientele increasingly fond of scented products.
The diversity and strength of local suppliers, combined with the proximity of the Korean and Chinese beauty industries, are driving the growing international recognition of Thai beauty (T-Beauty) brands.
At Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN, leading Thai brands including Mistine, MizuMi, Giffarine, and Jabs presented their latest launches, emphasizing multifunctional products such as hybrid color cosmetics and advanced body and sun care solutions.
According to Custom Market Insights, Thailand’s cosmetics industry records an average annual growth of 10% to 20% and ranks 17th worldwide in beauty product manufacturing. Statista also confirms the positive outlook for the country’s Beauty & Personal Care market, which is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4% between 2025 and 2031, reaching USD 9 billion by 2031, from USD 7.4 billion in 2026.
“Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN 2026 confirms the strength of the Cosmoprof network as an international business platform able to accompany the beauty industry in its most dynamic markets. The successful debut of Cosmopack CBE ASEAN marks a milestone in the development of the event: it brings to Southeast Asia the integrated format that distinguishes Cosmoprof worldwide,” concluded Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof.
