The independent family-owned fragrance composition company, headquartered in the Marseille metropolitan area in southern France, is reinforcing its leadership structure to accelerate its international expansion. As part of this strategic move, Maxime Gransart, currently Deputy CEO, has been promoted to Global CEO. He will be responsible for driving the company’s global strategy, overseeing key markets, and fostering closer collaboration between its local and international teams.
TechnicoFlor explains that this organizational shift aims to unify global operations, fostering greater agility and efficiency amidst a period of sustained international growth.
"This evolution builds on the development we have achieved in recent years. Given our international growth and future projects, we are adapting our organization to work in an even more global and efficient manner. Maxime will play a key role in this new phase, and I am confident he will successfully guide our teams and support our growth ambitions," stated Christopher Sabater, President of TechnicoFlor.
Maxime Gransart’s appointment became effective on July 1, 2026, following seven years as Deputy CEO of TechnicoFlor. Previously, he held commercial management roles with a strong international focus at Symrise and Fragrance Resources. He began his career at L’Oréal.
Founded in 1981 by François-Patrick Sabater and led by Christopher Sabater since January 2025, TechnicoFlor generated EUR 51 million in revenue in 2025 (with 60% coming from international markets) and employs nearly 230 people. Earlier this month, the group announced the acquisition of Grasse-based fragrance house Azur Fragrances for an undisclosed sum.
Among the company’s latest creations are the Essences Précieuses collection by Stendhal Paris (Bogart Group) and Dorian’s Spleen by L’Entropiste — the latter having won the Best Niche Fragrance award from the Fragrance Foundation France this year in the "Rising Star Independent Brands" category.
