U.S. beauty brand Tarte Cosmetics, a subsidiary of Japan’s based giant beauty group Kosé, has announced several changes to their leadership team.

Candace Craig Bulishak, formerly Chief Marketing Officer, will assume the role of President, and Kim Tran, formerly Senior Vice President of New Product Development & Operations, will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer. These new appointments are effective immediately.

"Tarte’s success speaks for itself, & it has everything to do with the people behind the brand," said Maureen Kelly, founder and CEO of tarte cosmetics. "As Tarte enters its 20th year I’m beyond excited to recognize two people who have been so critical to that success, and think it’s so inspiring to see this executive team full of amazing, accomplished women take shape."

Maureen Kelly founded Tarte Cosmetics in 1999 as a cruelty-free line of easy-to-use products. Kosé acquired the brand in 2014 with the aim to develop their global footprint. The brand now has in-store presence in over 20 countries, and online at tarte.com shipping to over 150 countries worldwide!

"What’s special about Tarte is that we’re constantly changing while staying true to our core values of breaking down beauty boundaries & formulating with naturally-derived ingredients," said Bulishak. "Having been with Tarte for 14 years I can’t wait for this next chapter and look forward to continuing to grow the brand worldwide."

"It has been incredible to watch Tarte grow into a global beauty brand that continues to pioneer cruelty-free cosmetics & skincare," added Tran. "I’m honored for the opportunity to lead the operations team through our continued, transformative growth."
