In the wake of the launch of Scentouch®, its latest innovation at the Luxe Pack Monaco show in 2019, iD Scent has signed an exclusive partnership with the Shiseido group.

Under this partnership, the French fragrance sampling expert is granting the exclusive use of the innovation to the Shiseido group for a period of one year, from January to December 2020.

This agreement is the culmination of a long-standing collaboration between iD Scent and the multinational company. “Shiseido was one of the first groups to place its trust in iD Scent and its innovative technologies. Shiseido is constantly searching for innovations in order to renew its sampling tools, strike out on new paths and offer new fragrance discoveries. The group is also very attentive to the eco-responsibility of its products,” said iD Scent in a statement.

First Scentouch press campaign

Marking the release of its new Narciso Rodriguez, Eau de Parfum Ambrée perfume in the Narciso line, Shiseido is launching the Scentouch tool with an international press campaign.

In total, over six million Scentouch samples will be distributed in more than 60 magazines in about 20 countries.

With Scentouch, consumers can smell the fragrance on the applicator or apply it to the skin, on their wrist or on some other pulse point.

With Scentouch, iD Scent aims nothing less than revisiting the fragrance sample gesture.

Made of paper, the support presented at the Luxe Pack Monaco trade show takes the form of a perfume bottle (but any kind of shape is possible) containing an applicator (also made of paper) infused with fragrance. Consumers can therefore smell the fragrance on the applicator or apply it to the skin, on their wrist or on some other pulse point.

iD Scent guarantees a consistent and long-lasting reproduction of the fragrance, thus allowing consumers to keep the samples and test them freely at their convenience and under optimal conditions.
