Minasolve, a pioneer in green chemistry specializing in natural preservation boosters for cosmetic products, particularly 100% bio-based glycols, is joining Seppic, a subsidiary of the Air Liquide Group.
Founded in 2007 and a subsidiary of the Minafin Group, Minasolve specializes in upcycling agricultural residues (such as sugarcane bagasse) and transforming them into high-performance cosmetic ingredients.
Minasolve relies on unique technological processes protected by 12 patent families. Its environmental commitment and CSR approach are recognized by numerous certifications (ProTerra, COSMOS, NATRUE, USDA, and EcoVadis Gold).
This acquisition fully aligns with Seppic’s growth strategy in the cosmetics market. By integrating Minasolve’s portfolio, Seppic expands its offer of naturally derived preservation boosters, directly addressing the growing demand for ingredients that enable the creation of natural cosmetic formulations without traditional preservatives.
“This acquisition allows Seppic to enrich its portfolio of cosmetic ingredients to better meet the demands of our customers. It demonstrates our ambition to position ourselves as a key player in the natural preservatives segment in cosmetics. It also illustrates our long-term commitment to green chemistry in favor of developing ever more responsible ingredients,” said Virginie Cavalli, CEO of Seppic.
