After demonstrating the effectiveness of its Montanov emulsifier range in hydrating skin across all phototypes, Seppic presents new data highlighting the benefits of these ingredients for hair repair.

According to Seppic, new scientific findings demonstrate how these eco-designed, non-ionic glucolipid emulsifiers achieve high-performance hair restoration through biomimetic textures containing liquid crystal structure, successfully bridging the gap between clinical efficacy and exceptional sensoriality.

The application of an emulsion with Montanov 202 on damaged hair restores the lipid organization compared to natural hair and creates a protective film at the surface of the hair. The ingredient also demonstrated the capacity to boost the activity of traditional hair care active ingredients.

The repairing effect of Montanov 202 has been highlighted thanks to the XPolar technology, which makes it possible to study the structural disorganization of keratin. According to Seppic, the study demonstrated that Montanov 202 has the capacity to repair damaged hair up to 71%.

Furthermore, a recent test highlights that, in addition to its restorative effect, the Montanov line offers the high sensory profile sought after by formulators.

Montanov 202 thus offers a light sensoriality and a matte finish, while Montanov L provides a soft and light skin feel with easy spreading.

The two emulsifiers both present a great compatibility with all types of cationic conditioning polymers and improve cationic affinity with the hair fiber.
