Founded in 1774 during the reign of Louis XVI by Michel Adam, the Parisian house — then known as À la Reine des Fleurs — is among the oldest perfumeries in France. In the 19th century, under the direction of Louis-Toussaint Piver, it became L.T. Piver and distinguished itself as a pioneer, being one of the first French perfume houses to incorporate synthetic ingredients and to industrialize its production. The brand achieved notable success with creations such as Trèfle Incarnat and Pompeïa.

Acquired by Nelly Chenelat in 2022, the brand has entered a new phase of revival while continuing to draw on its distinctive heritage.

For the brand’s new line of eaux de parfum and colognes, Nelly Chenelat selected a bottle that bridges past and future, paired with a zamak cap produced by Segede Industrie.

Recycled zamak and gold finish

Although originally conceived in other materials, the cap is now crafted in zamak to enhance its premium positioning.

For this project, Segede Industrie drew on its long-standing expertise to design and manufacture a bespoke mold entirely in-house. This highly technical tooling made it possible to achieve a distinctive and complex form. In keeping with the brand’s heritage-driven vision and vintage aesthetic, the cap features a silhouette inspired by the House’s historic bottles, refined by the engraved logo.

To give the product the aesthetic it deserves while addressing global economic constraints, a glossy gold finish achieved through cataphoretic varnish was selected. This process, which ensures exceptional durability and brilliance, offers a strategic alternative to traditional electroplating and reduces exposure to fluctuations in gold prices.

In line with Segede’s commitment to Clean Metal Packaging, this cap incorporates 30% PCR (post-consumer recycled) zamak, demonstrating that luxurious design can also belong within a circular economy.

"Supporting a female entrepreneur like Nelly Chenelat and backing her vision of excellence is an honor for a family business like Segede. The values of heritage, transmission, and business takeover resonate deeply within us: putting our 70 years of expertise at the service of L.T. Piver’s rebirth gives full meaning to our role as a luxury manufacturer," said Claire Trescartes, Executive Manager at Segede.
