Following sustainable cotton pajama and jean collections as well as a line of environmentally-friendly glitter, and a collaboration with Spanish brand 3INA for a 100% vegan makeup line, Primark is taking further steps into the responsible cosmetics arena. The retailer just launched its first line of cosmetics that are kind to the environment, animals and your skin. With this first vegan skin care collection, Primark is offering cosmetics formulated with respect for mother nature in mind, at prices accessible to a wide range of budgets.
The ’PS... Naturals’ line is certified by The Vegan Society, which imposes stringent standards, and will retail at prices between €1.50 and €3.50 ($1.66 and $3.88 respectively).
Primark has indicated that the products from the line are formulated using at least 90 percent ingredients of natural origin, such as organic coconut water, and Australian kakadu plum. The products available so far include a daily moisturizer, a mild face wash, a cleansing balm, cleansing wipes and an overnight sleep mask.
In parallel, Primark has released a clutch of accessories, some of which are designed with FSC-certified wood and organic cotton. Beauty addicts can choose from a body sponge or brush, a nail brush, an exfoliating glove, or loofah.
The PS... Naturals range is available for purchase in Primark stores and will shortly be on the brand’s e-shop at Primark.com.
