More than 150 exhibitors and around 300 brands will gather across over 6,000 gross sqm at the 2025AW edition of Notes Shanghai, from 16-19 October 2025 at the West Bund International Convention and Exhibition Center, in Shanghai, China.

Notes Shanghai is Asia’s only event fully dedicated to high-end perfumery. This year’s edition will host brands from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East, and North America, including Amouage (Oman), Borntostandout (Korea), Caron (France), Etat Libre d’Orange (France), Jo Loves (UK), Melt Season (China), Memo Paris (France), Mendittorosa (Italy), Nasomatto (Italy), Skandinavisk (Denmark), and many more.

Exhibitors will present a diverse array of products including perfumes, home fragrances, car scents, and scented candles, as well as traditional Chinese incense.

In addition, nine special showcases will offer focused insights on fragrance-related topics: “Caron’s Free Odyssey”; “dsm-firmenich House of Musk exhibition”; “Dunhuang Resonances by Mane”; “Givaudan Haute Parfumerie Show”; “Nose Idea-Olfactory Art Experience”; “Notes Shanghai Osmanthus in Perfume”; “See the Scents Immersive Experiment Project”; “Tmall Fragrance Healing Expo” and “The Odyssey of Perfume History”, curated by the world’s only perfume conservatory, Osmothèque.

The show floor will also feature two dedicated zones: Shanghai Perfume Week, gathering overseas exhibitors invited by Nez – the French platform providing fragrance educational resources and workshops in the industry – and; Scents Box, an interactive area featuring innovative machines for raw materials exploration and blind perfume testing, allowing participants to engage directly with the olfactory experience.

Expected to welcome more than 16,000 visitors, Notes Shanghai will also feature a comprehensive educational program with experts and influencers sharing insights and exploring trends across 50 talks.

The rising demand for fine fragrances across China presents a pivotal opportunity, shaped by discerning consumers and fresh creative energy,” highlighted Alex Wu, Founder of Notes Shanghai Exhibition Co Ltd.

Notes Shanghai announced in June a strategic partnership with Messe Frankfurt, the German trade fair giant, to fast-track its international growth.

The major trends and latest innovations in fragrance development, including a focus on the Chinese market, will be presented and discussed at the upcoming Fragrance Innovation Summit on November 26 in Paris.
