Parfums de Marly expanded its presence in Paris this September with the opening of a second boutique. Strategically located at 29 rue François 1er, in the 8th arrondissement’s Golden Triangle, the new store reflects the brand’s heritage, drawing inspiration from the Château de Marly, the historic residence of Louis XIV.

Envisioned by Parisian architect Hubert de Malherbe, the new architectural concept is a dialogue between historical codes and a contemporary vision. Just like Parfums de Marly’s fragrance collection.

An iconic feature inside the Parfums de Marly’s boutiques, an impressive console anchors the space, reminiscent of the eight-legged table that once welcomed visitors to the central pavilion of the castle built in 1679 by Jules Hardouin-Mansart.

The ceramics that invite visitors to discover these fragrances are horse-shaped, an emblematic tribute to the equestrian sculptures in Carrara marble that once adorned the entrance to the grounds at Marly and inspired the Maison’s signature crest.

In an adjoining salon, guests may settle into sculpted armchairs inspired by the curving lines of French gardens and embark on an immersive journey through history. A bespoke virtual reality experience offers a 360° exploration of the Chateau de Marly as it once stood in the 18th century, created in collaboration with historians and 3D artists. Narrated by renowned French TV host Stéphane Bern and British tenor Neal Cooper.

The olfactorium invites visitors to explore Parfums de Marly’s perfumery expertise, offering a journey through its finest raw materials, such as damascena rose, bourbon vanilla, and bergamot, as well as exclusive molecules that define the brand’s signature creations.

"The exceptional is hidden and revealed in the finest details. This holds true for an olfactory composition as much as for the design of a boutique. Every visual element and every diffused fragrance are a matter of singularity, savoir faire, beauty, and the enjoyment of rare moments," said Julien Sprecher, Founder & Creative Director of Parfums de Marly.

The Sprecher Berrier Group brand also operates six additional boutiques worldwide: two in London, two in New York, one in Beverly Hills, and one in Dubai.

In 2024, Parfums de Marly continued its strong growth trajectory, with retail sales rising 34% to USD 586 million.
