Medicos has developed for SVR’s “Ampoule” range, a dropper system combining a drawn glass pipette, PP cap, lined closure TPE bulb and transport PP cap, combined with a 30 ml moulded glass bottle. Design, manufacturing and assembly are fully integrated in-house, ensuring component compatibility, functionality and reproducibility. The pipette is designed to limit liquid backflow into the bulb, contributing to cleanliness and reduced formula waste.
Medicos has been a long-standing player in dropper systems for over 50 years, with roots in the pharmaceutical industry. The company has notably developed devices for medicinal products such as Celestene and Primperan. This technical background supported the development of droppers for dermocosmetic serums from the 2010s onwards.
“This expertise leads us to continuously evolve our GMP standards, supported by Industry 4.0 injection and automated assembly equipment integrating camera-based inspection systems and AI-assisted controls. They contribute to consistent quality and industrial performance, while supporting our competitiveness,” explains Cédric Marmonier, founder and CEO of Medicos.
Medicos offers a comprehensive range of dropper solutions combining bottles in drawn glass, moulded glass or plastic, with glass or plastic pipettes, nitrile, butyl or TPE bulbs, and PP or RPP closures. Dimensional parameters and pipette geometries (rounded, curved or tapered tips, variable orifice diameters) allow adaptation to pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications.
Accessories (tamper-evident rings, pipette protectors) and finishing options (mass tinting, aluminium shell, lacquering, metallization, hot stamping, screen printing) complete the range. The
Medicos Group is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, and is engaged in ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certification processes. It is also ISCC PLUS certified and EcoVadis Platinum rated. Developments follow an eco-design and resource optimization approach, aligned with regulatory developments such as PPWR.
