Loewe Perfumes has opened its first standalone store and first location in Seoul, South Korea, in the Seongsu-dong neighborhood.
Split across two floors, the space showcases all the fragrances signed by the brand of the LVMH Group, including the Crafted Collection, Botanical Rainbow and Un Paseo por Madrid, alongside Home Scents and Bath lines. The new store blends the aesthetic of a botanist’s archive with a Spanish sensibility, woven with references to Korean design.
Art, craft and design from Loewe’s international collection are displayed on both floors. A knitted pendant by Kwan go Lee, a traditional moonjar vase by Mun Myung and a watercolor drawing by William McKeown all contribute to contemplative moments within the serene space.
The façade and interior are clad in ceramic tiles in teal blue, emerald, lime green and turquoise. A central garden draws on a traditional Korean home, while a pine tree combined with ceramic pots reflects Spanish heritage. Inside, expanses of concrete contrast with counters in green marble and a central curved staircase, and a dedicated area allows visitors to experience the rituals of Loewe Perfumes’ Bath line.
