The French supplier of cosmetic solutions innovates with a sheet mask with low ecological footprint.
For their sheet masks, brands use sachet with aluminium foils, a material with a high ecological footprint because of its production process. Lessonia now offers a sachet without aluminium foil, thus dividing by two the carbon impact related to the production of the materials needed to manufacture sachets. According to Lessonia, this means saving 50 tons of CO2 equivalent in the atmosphere for the production of 10 million masks. This new solution offers a good product protection (to prevent the mask from drying) while reducing its environmental impact.
However, Lessonia went further in the reduction of packaging material. The company also removed the polypropylene support usually used to facilitate the sheet mask unfolding, thus saving 15 tonne of polypropylene for 10 millions mask produced.
Furthermore, the company proposes masks made of specific natural materials, such as organically certified non-woven masks and an entire collection of OEKO-TEX level 1 certified masks.
Eventually, Lessonia expands its Happy Mask’s natural serum offer by giving possibilities to soak sheet mask with COSMOS organic lotions, which are 100% natural (aqueous or creamy texture).
