The French nail polish and nail care brand has signed an agreement with Inflexion, a European private equity firm specializing in mid-market companies, which will acquire a minority stake in the business.

Inflexion’s investment will support Manucurist’s founders and management team in accelerating international growth, particularly in the United States, expanding its physical retail footprint and further developing online sales.

The fund will also support Manucurist’s investment in innovation and new product development, with the ambition of establishing the brand as a global leader across all nail beauty categories.

“With Inflexion, we have found a partner who shares our vision and has a proven track record of supporting brands in their international expansion. We are delighted to be working together and opening a new chapter in our journey,” said Gaëlle Lebrat Personnaz, co-founder and co-CEO of Manucurist.

The transaction was supported by investment bank Alantra, which acted as financial advisor to Manucurist’s shareholders.

Founded in 1996, Manucurist is marking its 30th anniversary this year. The brand is targeting revenue of more than EUR 50 million in 2025 and has a presence in nearly 5,000 points of sale across some 40 countries, with more than 1.5 million users worldwide. Combining color and care, Manucurist develops innovative formulas designed to deliver salon-quality results at home while protecting the health of natural nails.

Initially distributed through professional salons in France, Manucurist has since evolved into an omnichannel brand. Its sales channels include a strong direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform, a growing presence in major international retailers and Amazon.
