Feelunique, Europe’s leading online beauty retailer, delivered record retail sales of over £6 million during its Black Friday-Cyber Monday promotion, representing a 40% year-on-year growth. This was underpinned by strong performance from international websites, with retail sales more than doubling in both China and France.

During the Black Friday promotion, the retailer’s average order value grew by 17 per cent and a record-breaking 400,000 products were shipped to 83 countries. According to Feelunique, best-selling products included: Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette; Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick and Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm.

Feelunique’s trading through the Black Friday promotion is further compelling evidence of the shift in the beauty sector to online purchasing. The focus we have given to establishing the leading technology-led digital platform in the sector, building an online community and solidifying our brand relationships, is really coming to fruition. In particular, to achieve more than 100 per cent sales growth in China and France, compared to Black Friday last year, is testament to the success of our international expansion strategy,” said Joel Palix, CEO of Feelunique.
