Expanscience’s Kiss My Beard Beard Oil
The Cosmetic Active Ingredients division of the Expanscience group unveiled new efficacy data for its Virgin Plum Oil [1], extracted from plum kernels sourced in France. Already known for its ability to leave skin feeling soft and silky, Expanscience’s Virgin Plum Oil also demonstrated beneficial effects for beard care.
At Cosmet’Agora, the company highlighted these new features with a beard oil formula dubbed Kiss My Beard. Designed to nourish and enhance the beard while improving skin comfort, the formula blends Expanscience’s signature upcycled plant oils: virgin plum oil, prized for its natural almond fragrance and soothing properties; virgin maracuja (passion fruit) oil; and avocado oil, delivering instant hydration and reinforced protection.
Clinical studies have demonstrated that virgin plum oil enhances beard softness, suppleness, and shine, while helping to alleviate sensations of discomfort. Inspired by the retro grooming rituals of the 1950s — the theme of this year’s Cosmet’Agora formulation competition — this minimalist formula aligns with market expectations for naturality, proven efficacy, and sensorial appeal.
Exsymol takes care of your hair
At this year’s Cosmet’Agora, the Monaco-based manufacturer presented a complete range of hair care products formulated with Adelsinat [2], its new 100% natural hair active. Adelsinat was previously unveiled at the in-cosmetics Latin America 2025 trade show, held in September in São Paulo, Brazil.
With Adelsinat, Exsymol offers an ingredient that promotes hair density and growth. By supporting autophagy — the breakdown of damaged and unwanted cellular components — this new active ingredient also helps create a healthy environment around the hair. This ability to boost the entire hair ecosystem makes it a versatile ingredient that also helps control sebum, combat dandruff, and reduce scalp inflammation.
According to Exsymol, in vitro tests showed that Adelsinat delivered follicle growth results comparable to those of minoxidil, while providing longer-lasting effects.
Among the formulations that Exsymol showcased, the Root Reset Oil Balancing Scalp Serum stands out as a clear demonstration of Adelsinat’s versatility.
Mibelle Biochemistry’s Cold Cream Couture
Meanwhile, the Swiss specialist in natural active ingredients, in partnership with Global Beauty Consulting, unveiled a reimagined take on the 1950s cold cream, presented in the form of rich, sensorial, fragranced melting tablets.
This three-in-one skin treatment — offering anti-aging, tone-evening, and an immediate lifting effect — relies on the benefits of NovoRetin O [3], a 100% natural active derived from the mastic tree and positioned as a natural alternative to retinol.
The anhydrous formula, based on shea butter and natural waxes (rice and carnauba), comes in the form of solid tablets with a powdery coating (rice powder) that melt between the fingers or on the skin, releasing a light vanilla fragrance.
Seppic’s Gel Teinté Signature
Combining natural ingredients (99% natural origin according to ISO 16128), sensorial appeal, and performance, Seppic’s Gel Teinté Signature (Signature Tinted Gel) is an innovative hybrid formula that seamlessly blends makeup and skincare.
This foundation–skincare hybrid stands out for its distinctive sensorial experience, enabled by Seppic’s patented Geltrap technology and its Solagum range of natural polymers. Its transformative texture unfolds in three sensorial phases: upon application, the rich formula delivers an immediate sense of comfort; as it blends into the skin, it releases a burst of freshness, followed by a soft, velvety feel that settles into a flawless finish.
Seppic conducted transfer, coverage, and sensorial evaluations, which demonstrated the formula’s ability to deeply hydrate the skin while evening out the complexion. “Thanks to its cocktail of active ingredients — Phlorogine, CV, Codiavelane BG PF, Native Essence, and Aquaxyl — combined with its innovative texture, [the Signature Tinted Gel] is suitable for all skin types, including oily skin, while delivering a mattifying effect,” the company emphasized.
Roquette’s Rockabubble Paste Shampoo
Inspired by the glamorous spirit of the 1950s, Roquette Beauty developed a shampoo paste with an airy, foamy texture, powered by a natural and biodegradable ingredient: amylopectin.
Named Rockabubble, this playful, eco-friendly formula simplifies styling while leaving hair radiant, glossy, and full of volume and shape — just like the Hollywood icons of the era.
