FaiveleyTech inaugurated its new manufacturing facility in Orgelet, in France’s Jura region, on October 15, 2026. Dedicated to the group’s Beauty business unit, the EUR 15 million investment is designed to support the growth of this strategic business alongside its Industry and Healthcare businesses.

The new 10,000 m² facility brings together all 100 employees and their activities — including production, engineering, warehousing, quality, and support functions — under one roof. According to the company, this integrated layout is designed to foster collaboration, streamline production flows, and improve working conditions.

Increased production capacity

The new facility will enable FaiveleyTech Orgelet to double its assembly and decoration capacity and increase its plastic injection moulding capacity by 30%.

The site features a 2,000 m² injection moulding workshop equipped with presses ranging from 50 to 320 tonnes, alongside a 2,000 m² assembly workshop with 12 lines dedicated to assembly, bonding, and decoration. The facility also provides storage capacity for 1,500 pallets.

Designed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), the plant incorporates stringent requirements for hygiene, contamination control, traceability, and process monitoring. Its layout is also designed to streamline the flow of materials, components, and finished products, while an underground technical gallery houses some of the site’s utility networks.

“This new facility marks a significant step forward, enabling us to strengthen our capabilities, develop our expertise, and better support beauty brands with premium, innovative, and more sustainable solutions,” said Nicolas Alloin, President of FaiveleyTech, and Christophe Skibine, Director of the Beauty Business Unit.

Reducing the environmental footprint

Environmental considerations were integrated into the project from the outset. The site features a photovoltaic system commissioned in September 2026, expected to generate the equivalent of an average of 25% of the factory’s annual energy consumption.

FaiveleyTech is also recovering waste heat from compressors to help heat the building in winter. Electric presses already account for 77% of the site’s press fleet, with the target of reaching 100% by 2030. The site is also equipped with 18 electric vehicle charging points. In addition, the building’s orientation and construction materials have been selected to minimize energy losses.

These initiatives are part of the group’s five-pillar sustainability policy, formalized in June 2026. The policy also emphasizes eco-design and circularity, with a focus on developing solutions for customers that are refillable, recyclable, and traceable.

Integrating biodiversity into the project

The factory project included preliminary environmental surveys to assess local wildlife, flora, and wetlands. As part of the resulting mitigation and compensation measures, 17,132 m² of wetlands have been restored. Ecological monitoring will continue for 15 years in collaboration with local stakeholders.

The project’s administrative phase began in 2022, with earthworks and foundation work starting in April 2024. The transfer of operations to the new facility began in May 2026, ahead of its official inauguration in October.

Beyond expanding production capacity, the new facility provides FaiveleyTech with a modernized industrial base to support the continued growth of its beauty business, while placing greater emphasis on operational efficiency, working conditions, and environmental sustainability.
