The next edition of the MakeUp in Paris tradeshow (09-10 June 2016 at the Carrousel du Louvre, in Paris) will inaugurate a new “Digital Beauty” area, which will be set up at the entrance of the show. The new area will gather a dozen companies, from innovative product designers, specialist of retail and customer relations, or consulting agencies specialised in digital strategy.
In parallel, on 10 June 2016, the B2B show dedicated to suppliers of makeup brands will feature a series of conferences dedicated to digital beauty.
Laurence-Anne Parent, Senior Partner at Advancy will speak on the theme "What is the weight of e-commerce in the global cosmetic business?” (12.45 pm - 12.55 pm) This first conference of the series will be followed by a presentation by Deborah L. Weinswig, Executive Director-Head Global Retail & Technology, Fung Business Intelligence Centre (12.55 pm - 01.15 pm).
To speak of digital and customer experience three major players in make-up applications will then take the floor: Lawrence O’Toole, OTSTC, Sylvain Delteil, Perfect Corp and Alain Bruguerolle, Wisimage (01.15 pm - 01.45 pm).
This will be followed by a roundtable moderated by Séverine Boutry and themed “How new technologies are revolutionizing customer experience”, with the participation of representatives of the following companies: Albéa, I Feel Beauty, LF Beauty, The Nail Revolution / Provaine, and OTSTC, Perfect Corp and Wisimage (01.45 pm - 02.30 pm).
And insofar as this emergence of new technologies is on the one hand, opening new development opportunities for brand retailers, on the other, it generates new legal risks, the last roundtable of the series will deal with “Data, the new resource” and will gather representatives of the following companies: Linkfluence, KerniX and Matthieu Bourgeois, Lawyer, Cabinet Simon Associates (02.30 pm - 03.00 pm).
