The holiday coffrets for Yves Saint Laurent’s new Dress Me Wild line are both ultra-luxurious and originally designed. Cosfibel, the brand’s partner, crafted these two creations, prioritizing eco-design.
A sustainable calendar
In order to magnify the magic of the Advent calendar with its fragrance, skincare and makeup miniatures , Cosfibel made a coffret based on a thick card body. It is coated in screen printed glitter paper, its inside adorned in minimal matte black. The two magnetized doors join together with the famous YSL logo, made from cut-out card coated with polyester paper and applied by hand.
Inside, each drawer is decorated by hand. The different décors include print motifs or solid black, their numbers in various sizes hot stamped in gold. A series of stickers is applied by the co-packer.
The coffret is delivered in a mass-dyed black cardboard sheath with a large window that reveals the central logo.
Luscious Lips
Another Cosfibel creation, a coffret designed to hold a selection of mini Pure Couture lipsticks. For this design, the brand sought to find the best possible compromise between a luxury product and a coherent sustainable approach. The box is made from card coated by hand with paper screen-printed in red glitter.
Inside, the made-to-measure cardboard chock is coated with the same decorated paper, a challenging development that necessitated several adjustments before the perfect design was found. Cut to the nearest millimeter, it guarantees that the products are held in place just as securely as with a plastic chock.
