August Grupp, son of Dr. Cornelius Grupp, the owner of the company, will join the Stölzle Glass Group as Head of the Business Unit Spirits. The appointment is effective on September 2, 2019. As head of the Business Unit Spirits, he will be responsible for the development, manufacturing and decoration of glass containers for the premium spirits market.
August Grupp holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH in Zurich and an MBA degree from the Business School INSEAD. He has already worked for Stölzle in the group’s French site Stoelzle Masnières, which produces perfume bottles and cosmetic containers for international brands.
The Stölzle Glass Group produces high-end packaging glass for the international pharmaceutical, perfumery, cosmetics, spirits and consumer markets in six production sites in Europe.
