Moroccanoil has chosen Aptar Beauty’s EuroMist Technical spray pump to dispense its new Treatment Mist, an ultra-lightweight, dry oil formula for all hair types. Manufactured in North America, in Aptar’s facility in Cary, Illinois, the pump was adapted to Moroccanoil’s unique requirements for a cloud-like spray.
Highly-compatible spray pump
Moroccanoil already uses the EuroMist Classic spray pump from Aptar Beauty for several other hair care products, including conditioners and hair mists, and the brand wanted something similar for its new hair treatment launch.
In order to help the brand to maintain consistency in packaging on the shelf, Aptar Beauty guided the brand towards Euromist Technical, a pump especially engineered to dispense oil-based formulas to achieve the desired spray experience, thanks to specifically designed insert.
Highly compatible with oil-based formulas, EuroMist Technical is especially constructed for chemical resistance, avoiding common issues like swelling and leakage. It dispenses oil-based products in a fine spray, with a precise dose of 150 mcl per stroke.

Customized solution
The EuroMist Spray Pump platform features customizable components, from inserts and finishes to dosage options and caps. For Moroccanoil’s Treatment Mist, Aptar Beauty created an exclusive champagne colour pump in a smooth matte finish that not only dispenses the product in an ultra-fine mist, but also aligns with the aesthetics of the brand.
The same pump is used for the 100ml (3.4 fl.oz.) full size and 25ml (0.85 fl.oz.) travel size formats, for a consistent user experience.
For the deluxe discovery samples of the Treament Mist, the brand chose Aptar Beauty’s mini packaging solution Stilo, with an elegant 5ml (0.17 fl.oz.) amber glass bottle featuring the Replica fragrance pump and over cap in glossy black.
