While the cosmetics industry is gearing up around the world to supply the hygiene products necessary to fight the epidemic of Covid-19 linked to the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the packaging supplier is focusing its production on top-priority items, namely tubes, bottles and pumps.

Albéa’s 15,000 employees around the world come together as one team to work alongside with its customers such as L’Oréal, LVMH, GSK, P&G, Sanofi, Unilever, Bayer, Chemineau, Faberlic and Crystal Cosmetics and their brands which adapt their production to manufacture hand sanitizers and hydroalcoholic gel for frontline workers and consumers,” says the company.

In particular, Albéa’s Argonne, Vandières and Lubna plants, respectively in France and Poland, ensure the production of tubes for hydro-alcoholic gels, while the Lacrost plant (France) continues to manufacture lotion pumps for hand sanitizers.

Albéa is grateful to all its teams who continue to keep the production lines running during this exceptional period - and to those who support them by working from home,” adds the company.

The France-headquartered group ensures its top priority remains the health and safety of its employees and their families, as its partners. “In each site, teams are working together to define and implement enhanced safety and protection measures, sometimes drawing on best practices developed at other sites around the world.
