Following a successful crowdfunding campaign in 2020, 900.care has already onboarded over 20,000 customers for its refillable products, and entered into a distribution partnership with French retailer Monoprix. The emerging brand has announced a EUR 10 million initial funding round with participation from 360 Capital, White Star Capital, Founders Future and business angels [1].

The fundraising will allow the start-up to continue its R&D investments, expand its product line, grow the company and accelerate communication efforts. As a first step, 900.care intends to hire about fifteen new staffs and to strengthen its links with their current users and community of more than 80,000 followers on social networks.

Founded in 2019 by Aymeric Grange and Thomas Arnaudo, 900.care, is a refillable personal care brand which has the ambition to help reduce plastic consumption and the environmental impact of hygiene and beauty products. The brand offers a range of refillable hygiene products based on reusable recycled plastic bottles filled and refilled with anhydrous tablets or sticks shipped in cardboard cases. The water, which makes up most of a shower gel, for instance, is thus added at home by the customer.

The product range currently includes a shower gel, hand soap, deodorant and waterless toothpaste, provided in reusable recycled plastic packaging.

In a few months, we have successfully taken the first steps of our ambition: to reduce plastic waste in the bathroom without forcing consumers to change their habits. It is a tremendous work that is underway, but we want refill o become a new standard for beauty and hygiene products in France," said Aymeric Grange, co-founder of the brand with Thomas Arnaudo.
