Following its various business acquisition operations in 2011 et 2012, Albéa wished to reinforce the management dynamism of the growth around its four product lines (Tubes, Dispensing, Cosmetic Rigid Packaging and Beauty Solutions).

To address the challenges facing the Cosmetic Rigid Packaging segment, with more than 15 factories in the world, a very large product portfolio needing constant product development and industrial efficiency, Guillaume de Demandolx joined Albéa in September 2013 as Executive Vice President of the Cosmetic Rigid Packagings activity.

Guillaume de Demandolx started his career in the United Kingdom with the Saint-Gobain Pipe division, managing industrials trades and then joined General Electric Medical System in Paris, during two years, to focus on a supply chain process. In 2005, he joined Saint-Gobain in the United States in the Packaging division of Calmar which was sold to MeadWestvaco in 2006. He then relocated to Shanghai to lead during 4 years the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on the construction of a new plant in China and the development of new business for the region, both for dispensing systems and paperboard folding boxes, servicing mainly the Beauty & Personal Care market. In 2010, he relocated to Switzerland to lead MWV Beauty & Personal Care business for both Europe and Asia and starting 2012 on a global basis, with a strong commercial focus on business development.

Guillaume de Demandolx holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and graduated from the French National School Ponts & Chaussées.
