Albéa has invested in a new high-speed assembly line for its guided mechanism Baystick for its Plouhinec, France facility.
“ Baystick is the market reference for softer lipstick formulas. It works seamlessly and its beveled edge boasts soft rims for a perfect, comfortable application. Baystick features in the Rouge Interdit Vinyl by Givenchy and in many other prestigious references,” explains the manufacturer of cosmetics packaging.
The installation of this latest-generation equipment, designed and built in France, for Baystick in January 2016 is increasing Albéa Plouhinec’s production capacity and support the market’s trend towards softer formulas. “The ultra-modern line will contribute to the site’s industrial performance. It is part of the massive 2016-2018 investment plan for Albéa Plouhinec,” adds the company.
Baystick belongs to Lipsticks & Co, Albéa’s expertise platform for lipsticks, lip balms and face sticks. Albéa’s Plouhinec facility (in Brittany, France) provides a « made in France » expertise and integrated capabilities in injection, decoration and assembly. It is Albéa’s European center of excellence for lipstick mechanism and pack.
