A thriving manufacturer is looking for an experienced R&D Manager – Aerosol Specialist to lead the development of innovative personal care products. If you’re passionate about formulation, technology, and delivering exceptional consumer experiences, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of personal care products in aerosol formats including sprays, foams, and mousses.
- Manage product lifecycle from concept, formulation, and testing through to industrialisation and launch.
- Optimise formulations to ensure stability, performance, and outstanding sensory experience.
- Ensure products meet all regulatory, safety, and technical compliance requirements.
- Oversee stability, compatibility, and safety testing programmes.
- Collaborate with marketing, suppliers, and internal teams to drive innovation.
- Mentor and develop R&D team members, fostering creativity and continuous improvement.
- Identify emerging trends, new ingredients, and cutting edge aerosol technology.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or a related field.
- Extensive experience in personal care aerosol development and industrialisation.
- Strong formulation, testing, and regulatory knowledge.
- Effective leadership, problem solving, and cross functional collaboration skills.
