Our client is investing in growth and is looking for a commercially focused Business Development Manager to establish and expand their presence across Europe. This is a newly created, high-profile role with significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact on the business’s future success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a European business development strategy for testing services
- Identify, approach and secure new customers across the cosmetics and personal care industry
- Build strong relationships with brand owners, formulators and R&D teams
- Represent the business at industry exhibitions, formulation events and networking opportunities
- Travel throughout Europe and the UK to meet customers and develop commercial opportunities
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through to negotiation and contract award
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities
- Work closely with senior leadership to support ambitious European expansion plans
Candidate Requirements :
- Proven business development or sales experience within cosmetic testing, laboratory services, regulatory services or related sectors
- Strong commercial skills with a track record of winning new business
- Experience developing customer relationships across multiple European markets
- Highly motivated, self-sufficient and comfortable in a travel-focused role
