Will 2015 be the year of the hybrid makeup revolution? Several prestigious brands have apparently decided to bring the health benefits of botanical oils into lip products. Making almost the same bet than Clarins, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty is combining intense colour with nourishing ingredients derived from botanical oils into a new lip colour product.

With its Volupté Tint-In-Oil, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté is touting its latest innovation in lip colour, proposing its first moisturizing lip oil delivering bright, saturated colours.

This lip oil is designed to condition the lips while delivering long-lasting, vibrant colour. It’s all thanks to YSL Beauty’s Colour Link Infuser technology, which defies the natural separation of oil and water to distribute pigments evenly throughout the oil.

Available in eight shades ranging from bronze to dark purple (including pink, red, orange and gold hues), this next-generation product is formulated with five natural oils (apricot seed, macadamia, coriander, jojoba and passion fruit).

To turn the spotlight on its innovation, the luxury brand enlisted British supermodel Cara Delevingne, who is already a regular face in YSL Beauty campaigns and will now appear wearing this new makeup item.
