PSB Industries, owner of beauty packaging companies Quadpack and Texen, has announced the acquisition of flocked applicator specialist ERZI Flock-Technik Applikator GmbH. The German company officially joined the group on 31 March 2026. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

PSB Industries highlights that ERZI will continue to directly supply the market with innovative and high-performance flocked applicators.

Based in Reutlingen, near Stuttgart, Germany, ERZI develops and manufactures flock-tipped applicators for makeup formulations such as liquid lipstick, lip gloss, eyeliner, eyeshadow and concealer. Family-owned and managed for three generations, ERZI is a leader of the flocked applicator market, creating standard and bespoke products for global beauty brands and packaging companies.

The acquisition serves PSB’s strategy to develop a leadership position in the dip-in category for liquid makeup and skincare formulations. It complements PSB’s strong investment in dip-in manufacturing capabilities at Texen and Quadpack factories, and the development of Quadpack’s standard dip-in range.

“As part of PSB, it will have the resources to scale up its activity, widen its reach and accelerate new product development, while bringing its know-how into the group to further benefit all of our customers,” said PSB Industries CEO Alexandra Chauvigné.

ERZI Managing Director Andreas Zindel remains at the helm of the company, reporting directly to Chauvigné.

“ERZI will continue to operate independently and with integrity, as we have done for many decades. The brand and identity will be maintained. We continue to focus on our core business – to produce the world’s best and most innovative flocked applicators for makeup,” he said.
