The French-based glassmaker has announced the opening of a sales office in São Paulo, Brazil.

This new Verescence sales office joins a network of global offices, including New York, Barcelona and Janghang (South Korea) and the headquarters in Paris. “The launch of an office in Brazil is part of our ‘Verescence 2022 - Forming the Future’ plan, which aims to strengthen our global presence,” said the company in a statement.

Industry veteran Sônia Grassi will take the helm as Director of Business Development & Marketing to provide commercial and strategic support to local companies through her in-depth knowledge of the beauty market and her long career in the glass industry.

I’m looking forward to helping Verescence support the growing demand for high-end glass in Brazil, the fourth largest beauty market in the world. Verescence’s worldwide industrial coverage and innovative spirit will be real assets to our customers,” commented Grassi.

In 2018, Verescence sold its Brazilian subsidiary to Wheaton Brasil Vidros in order to focus their investments on the European and North American markets. With the opening of this new office, the world leader in luxury fragrance bottles makes its come back on the Brazilian market.
