On 16-17 October 2019, a 5th edition of Cosmetic 360, the international innovation fair for cosmetic and perfume industry, will be shaking up the Carrousel du Louvres in Paris. On this occasion, Cosmetic 360 has partnered with the trend and forecast agency Cosmetics Inspiration & Creation to create the “US Block”, an exclusive corner dedicated to American innovations.

"The Beauty sphere is currently in a state of upheaval, especially in one of the most influencing beauty hub, the USA”, explains Leïla Rochet, Founder of Cosmetics Inspiration & Creation who will be animating the US corner during the event. “Beauty in the USA has never been so daring, hedonistic, a sign of our ever more connected society that now uses images or videos to communicate. A new era dominated by influencers and tech. We also witness an increase towards value driven purchase, driven by the wellness wave and the quest of a more conscious consumption that will change the future Beauty landscape.

Today, the influence of the US beauty market grows across national borders, redefining the landscape of makeup, retail and skincare, from Europe to Korea. How do we decipher this success story? What are the key learnings for brands? What’s next for the American Dream?

An Inspiration Bar will be held by the Cosmetics Inspiration & Creation team to guide visitors through a sensorial journey of the most disruptive American products in 2019. This area will be open to all visitors of the Cosmetic360 edition.

In an open and creative format, several beauty talks will be presented in the US corner. Chaired by Leila Rochet, founder of Cosmetics Inspiration & Creation, the talks will cover the key areas of innovations coming from the USA.

During the two days discussions will be held with exclusive guests such as Sumita Butani, Global Global Product Innovation Lead at Rodan + Fields (sponsor of this year’s USA showcase and world leader in direct sales), Chloe Renard (Country Manager at Benefit France), Vincent Gallon (CEO of Premium Beauty News), Benjamin Jones (Global Business Development Associate at Terra Cycle), Pierre Bisseuil (Research Director at Peclers), Conor Begley (co-founder of Tribe Dynamics), Laure Bougen (CEO of Ho Karan – on the CBD Economy), Aïmara Coupet (Founder of brand Belle+Radiance), Ulli Haslacher (founder of indie brand Pour Moi), Thomas Fontaine (founder of artisan fragrance brand Pallida), and more.
