Leading Russian beauty retailer L’Etoile, which counts about 750 points-of-sale in 200 cities, called on Topline Products to create its full-service make-up palette “La Vie en Rose”. This case is a reflection of the brand’s spokesperson, Patricia Kass, who is coming out with her new album, “Kass chante Piaf”, later this year.

With its decorated cardboard exterior, the pocket-sized palette resembles a mini pad of paper. The inside houses foundation and colours for cheeks and eyes, applicators and a mirror.

In terms of design, the packaging presents a contrast between the ABS plastic injected in shiny black, the matte effect on paper printed in four-color offset and the selective varnish coating on the roses, logo and the young woman’s body. The magnet closure shuts with a subtle snap to round out this qualitative offer.

Topline Products also created the cast and compacted formulas for the palette’s shiny, powder and blush formats. Each item also has its own applicator: natural pony hair for the lip brush, goat hair for blush and a NBR/SBR blend for the eyelids.

A cardboard sheath, also supplied by Topline Products, protects the palette.

L’Etoile had already called on Topline Products for its “Charmée par Paris” palette.
