Thibault Ponroy (01/19/1958 - 07/10/2016)

Thibault Ponroy died on the 10th of July 2016 at the age of 58. Before joining design agency Centdegrés as Managing Partner in 2009, Mr Ponroy served as chief executive officer of Guerlain (1997-2002) and International Director of Marionnaud (2002-2009).

Thibault Ponroy was also President of the French Federation of selective perfumery (Fédération française de la parfumerie sélective - FFPS) from 2009 to 2010.

We regret the loss of this fine connoisseur of our sector,” stated William G. Koeberlé, the current president of the FFPS.

Thibault Ponroy was a curious and cultivated man, who had a huge experience in the luxury and beauty industries - at Guerlain, Helena Rubinstein, but also Marionnaud,” continued Koeberlé, who also paid condolences to Ponroy’s family and collaborators.

In a message posted on their Facebook page, Centdegrés thanked Thibault Ponroy, “beloved father, grandfather, mentor. You touched all those around you.

A service was held in his memory today at 10 a.m. at the Église Saint-Jacques-du-Haut-Pas in Paris.
