The French government’s decision to ban all gatherings of more than 100 people until this summer put an end to the last has finally put an end to the last hopes of the organizers of MakeUp in Paris. The B2B event, which was originally scheduled on 18-19 June 2020 at the Carrousel du Louvre, will finally be replaced by a virtual platform.

In order to not put additional pressure on your teams and your budgets, we have opted not to postpone the show to the second semester, and are focusing instead on welcoming you in the best possible conditions on June 17-18, 2021 at the Carrousel du Louvre,” wrote the organizers in a mail sent to exhibitors.

The 2020 edition of MakeUp in Paris will therefore be 100% online, through a digital platform designed to foster exchanges, visibility and contacts. The site will go live on MakeUp in Paris’ initial dates, mid-June.

This platform will break new ground and build a dynamic link between your offer and brands’ needs in the makeup and skincare market,” claims the organizers. “The platform will also offer customized digital marketing services and tools,” they add.

More details on the digital platform should be made available soon.
