The Tax Free World Association (TFWA) is very satisfied with visitor registration figures for the very next edition of TFWA World Exhibition, the annual event for the duty free and travel retail industry.

TFWA is particularly pleased with the number of delegations from airport authorities and duty free operators while more agent companies are joining the show every year,” said the event’s organizer.

Mainland China and Japan represent the most significant evolution in terms of pre-registered visitor figures with a +33% increase in the number of delegates from China and +21% from Japan. Leading the table in total delegate numbers is the home nation, France, closely followed by China and Hong-Kong, then UK, UAE and USA in fifth place.

The event opens in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on Sunday 20th October. The week will kick off with sports and leisure activities on Sunday morning followed by an Opening Cocktail at the Carlton Hotel.

On Monday 21st delegates will be treated to an inspirational Conference in the Grand Auditorium at the Palais (09.00-11.30).

The doors to TFWA World Exhibition will open 11.30-18.00 on Monday, 09.00-18.00 Tuesday to Thursday, and 09.00-12.00 on Friday 25th.

Online pre-registration for TFWA World Exhibition is now closed. Visitors who wish to attend and have not pre-registered will be able to register and collect their badge at the Registration Pavilion outside the Palais. The daily onsite registration fee is EUR 200 per person.
