Symrise has announced two new appointments as part of its development strategy for its Fine Fragrance division.

Michaël Betito is appointed Vice President Sales Fine Fragrance Europe. Effective March 6th 2017, Michaël Betito will be responsible for developing the company’s European Fine Fragrance business ensuring alignment with its Fine Fragrance global strategy. Based in Paris, he will head the Europe Fine Fragrance Sales team. Mr Betito has solid experience of more than 18 years in the Fragrance industry. He previously worked at Firmenich, L’Oréal and Chanel. He graduated from ESLSCA in Finance and Marketing as well as a Master in Purchasing at ESSEC.

Véronique Ferval is appointed Vice President Global Creation Fine Fragrances. Based in New York, she has the responsibility to drive fragrance creation to the next level. Better integrate consumer understanding, be the representative of fine fragrance in the innovation committees and lead our creative resources globally. She will directly managed all Perfumers globally, Fragrance Development Directors and laboratories when assigned to fine fragrance, directly or indirectly.

Veronique Ferval has 28 years’ experience in the Fragrance Industry. Latest 12 years she was the Fine Fragrances Global Creative VP in IFF. In her carrier, she developed and lead development teams on successful fragrances for major manufacturers (L’Oréal, P&G, Coty, LVMH, Estee Lauder, Unilever), lead and managed Fragrance Perfumery School and developed Innovative Partnership to support creative olfactive Vision. She is currently board member of CEW and the FIT CFM Advisory Board.
