Acquired at the end of 2023 as part of the receivership proceedings of Eugène Perma, the former Parchimy site in Reims has become a key pillar of Superga Beauty’s industrial development strategy. The acquisition was aimed in particular at expanding the group’s manufacturing capacity in skincare while leveraging the site’s longstanding expertise in hygiene and haircare.

With 16,000 m² of covered space, 12 manufacturing tanks, 10 packaging lines, an in-house laboratory and an ATEX facility, the BCA site provides a solid industrial foundation that Superga Beauty now plans to progressively modernize and transform.

EUR 3 million invested in 2026

After nearly two years focused on restarting the site, maintaining production continuity, reorganizing teams and strengthening operational reliability, Superga Beauty has committed an initial EUR 3 million investment in 2026.

The investment covers the three main stages of the production process: weighing, manufacturing and filling. The weighing area has been fully redesigned, with new airlocks, controlled flows and enhanced air treatment. A new manufacturing area features four independent booths and a dedicated technical zone.

Both the weighing and manufacturing areas meet ISO 8 standards, with air filtration, 15 air changes per hour and pressure cascade management.

In the filling area, BCA has created a dedicated space for sensitive products, equipped with four tube-filling lines and a controlled environment. A new washing facility completes the installation.

These upgrades mark the first phase of an investment program of approximately EUR 15 million through 2030, which aims to establish Reims as the group’s centre of excellence for skincare, hygiene and haircare.

Integrating formulation expertise

Alongside the transformation of BCA, Superga Beauty has strengthened its R&D capabilities with the acquisition in 2026 of 100% of GBC – Global Beauty Consulting. Based in Quimper and founded by Gaël Boutry, the laboratory specializes in formulation, textures, new galenics, natural ingredients and sensory experience.

The acquisition is intended to enable the group to become involved earlier in projects and bring formulation and industrialization closer together. In particular, it should facilitate the transition from benchtop development to pilot-scale production, and then to full industrial scale, by identifying and addressing production constraints earlier in the process.

“Our ambition is to become a leading player in the French skincare market. With GBC for innovation and formulation, and BCA for industrialization and production, we are building a complete chain of expertise to help brands innovate, secure and accelerate their launch cycles,” explains Leslie Bréau-Meniger, President of Superga Beauty.

Towards an integrated model

Following the acquisition of the Cosmeurop site in Strasbourg in 2021, dedicated to fragrance, these latest investments form part of a broader strategy to integrate several stages of the value chain within the group, including formulation and R&D, industrialization, manufacturing and packaging, co-packing, and gifting. The aim is to leverage these capabilities according to brands’ needs, with an integrated model designed to accelerate product developments.

A family-owned and independent group, Superga Beauty currently employs 450 people across six industrial sites in France, representing 60,000 m² of industrial space. Two sites are dedicated to fragrance, two to co-packing, and two to skincare, haircare and hygiene. The group produces 120 million units annually.

With BCA and GBC, Superga Beauty is strengthening its industrial capabilities and expanding its innovation expertise, while continuing to develop a fully France-based production chain.

“Our business has changed. From simply providing production capacity, Superga Beauty has evolved into a development and creation partner. Today, we can formulate, industrialize and innovate, while supporting brands throughout their projects. This strategy, initiated in fragrance with Cosmeurop, is now continuing in Reims with a new chapter focused on skincare. The BCA site will become Superga Beauty’s center of excellence for this category,” concludes Leslie Bréau-Meniger.
