British prestige beauty retailer Space NK has announced the appointment of Emma Simpson Scott as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 13. She succeeds Andy Lightfoot, who is stepping down as CEO after leading the business through a period of significant growth and transformation and its recent acquisition by Ulta Beauty.

Emma Simpson takes over as CEO after seven and a half years as Chief Marketing Officer, capping a decade at Space NK and more than 20 years of experience spanning luxury retail, brand marketing and customer experience.

Space NK also announced two appointments to strengthen its senior leadership team. Hannah Quy joins this month as Chief Financial Officer, taking charge of Finance, Property and Distribution, while Tiff Ruis arrives from Ulta Beauty as Senior Vice President of Retail & Ecommerce.
