Solev, French specialist of packaging decorations for perfumes, cosmetics and spirits, collaborated to the launch of two perfume bottles with very complex shapes: Issey Miyake’s Pleats Please L’Elixir, Eau de Parfum (30 ml) and Jean-Paul Gaultier’s "Classique" X Collection, Eau de Parfum (50 ml and 100 ml).

The bottle of the Pleats Please eau de parfum stands out for its white highlighted edging with interior metal reflections. “A challenge of combined technologies,” explains Solev, “associating metallization with a white finish, high-precision laser cutting, pad printing and overall varnishing, giving the bottle an intense radiance and making it a joy to handle.

In the case of the Jean-Paul Gaultier’s "Classique" X Collection, Eau de Parfum, Solev created the black dress using laser cutting on an original non-metallic substrate, a special ultra-deep black varnish compatible with the high definition requirement of laser decorations. “A glossy finishing varnish ensures added protection and further intensifies the smooth feel of the black dress, similar to a textile sensation,” adds Solev. An achievement that illustrates the importance of tactility in the latest designs.
