Two-in-one concept

It was undoubtedly the main attraction in the beauty sector ofthe lastest Emballage packaging trade show in Paris. In showcasing its brand new SleeverLogicpak, the French group Sleever International has left a lasting impression. Because this machine introduces for the first time on the market a two-in-one concept that combines sleeve positioning and shrinkage in a single compact mono block structure designed precisely for the market of small unstable containers like lipsticks, mascara, lip gloss, among others. The whole of it at speeds between 7,200pph and 24,000pph.

And, besides which, it’s a beautiful machine!” we are said at Sleever. But it’s not its only strong point! The new SleeverLogicpak have received a great deal of attention from the engineers of the firm.

Innovative machine

In addition to its high production rates, its ground dimensions have been reduced thanks to a compact mono-block structure (2300 mm x 850 mm) equipped with a single electrical equipment cabinet. Settings were simplified to optimize adjustment times during format changes. Operating costs have been examined closely and streamlined wherever possible, in particular through a better control of power consumption due mainly to a better distribution of heating elements. Vacuum conveyors and the addition of specific guidance systems ensure a perfect stability to small sizes products. Finally, the positioning head for the sleeve also lost nearly 50% of its weight in the process thanks to the horizontal mechanical principles used for removing the sleeve.

Any type of film can be used

"SleeverLogicpak was designed to process containers from 6 to 50 mm in diameter," explains Eric Fresnel, CEO of Sleever, "with heights ranging from 20 mm to 200 mm with all films available (PET, OPS, TPE .... ) in thicknesses from 30 to 100 microns. It can also be equipped with a series of specific equipments according to customer’s production requirements. A complete unit can also be added to insure micro-perforation and cut-out lines for tamper proof purposes (300 strokes per minute, tolerance 0.5 mm). It is also possible to add a module to position the sleeve vertically and laterally according to the shape of the container and the dimensions of the sleeve. A nonstop reel change per remote receiver can also be installed."

To note that dual-camera monitoring systems control the marking, the orientation of the sleeve on the bottle or the tube, making it possible to work in self-control mode.
