Obtained from carob (Ceratonia siliqua) gum, Cicactyl [1] is a natural active ingredient that accelerates skin healing by improving four key stages: granulation tissue formation, vascularization, wound re-epithelialization and the reduction of inflammation.

From the first applications, Cicactyl promotes recovery of the damage skin barrier by reducing erythema, dryness and scabs.

A 100% natural active (ISO 16128), Cicactyl is a preservative-free powder (recommended amount: 0.05 to 1%), free from "harmful or potentially allergenic substances." The new active ingredient is recommended in healing cosmetic and dermo-cosmetic facial and body care products intended for adults (including pregnant and breast-feeding women) and infants.

Silab Softcare is a division of Silab dedicated to the research, development, and commercialization of innovative natural active ingredients, specifically formulated to address dermatological conditions affecting fragile skin.
