Showroomprivé (SRP Groupe) reported a net loss of approximately EUR 23 million in the first half of 2026, while revenue declined 9.1% year on year.

The loss narrowed by EUR 9 million compared with the first half of 2025, the flash-sales specialist said in a press release published on Tuesday, September 29. Revenue, meanwhile, fell from EUR 239.9 million in H1 2025 to EUR 218.1 million in H1 2026.

The European group, which delayed the publication of its results by several days, attributed the weak performance primarily to “a challenging consumer environment and internal transformations.”

To address the challenging economic environment, the group said in April, when presenting its full-year results, that it was considering a restructuring plan that “could lead to up to 121 job cuts (Editor’s note: 11% of its workforce) for economic reasons during the second quarter of 2026.”

In December, the group also sold its majority stake in fashion platform The Bradery for EUR 22 million.

In addition, Showroomprivé is renegotiating EUR 40 million in bank debt, with repayment extended by two years under a conciliation agreement signed in January.

“Following a first half of 2026 that showed improvement but still fell short of the previous year’s results, the Group notes that business continues to improve but remains very fragile due to consumer caution,” management stated in a press release..

“In the second half of the year, Showroomprivé will focus its efforts on strengthening the teams and governance of its core businesses, particularly Home & Tech, Beauty, Media, Travel, and International,” the company said.

"Efforts to reduce operating costs and overhead expenses will be pursued with discipline. Combined with the strengthening of teams and the acceleration of growth drivers, these measures should enable the Group to actively prepare for its rebound and gradually return to a path of sustainable value creation,” it added.
